Assistant Professor of English

Bethel University: A non-tenure track, full-time faculty position in the College of Arts and Sciences - Assistant Professor of English beginning August 2025, renewable annually

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in English Knowledge of general classroom instruction Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD degree in English College teaching experience

Ability to integrate technology into curriculum design

Successful applicants are expected to teach 30 credit hours per year (15 credit hours each fall and spring semester) with a mix of intro and upper-level courses; advise and mentor ENG majors; have a strong commitment to teaching excellence; and participate in department curriculum development.
