Assistant Professor of Education

Bethel University: A non-tenure track, full-time faculty position in the College of Arts and Sciences - Assistant Professor of Education, beginning August 2025, renewable annually

Minimum Qualifications:

• Have an Earned Doctoral Degree in Education
• Have a minimum of three years teaching experience and have an LOE score of 4 or 5 in the K-12 setting
• Have certification(s) in Administration, Reading/Literacy, Special Education, Elementary, and/or Secondary
• Have a willingness to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in person and online
• Have an ability to Integrate technology into curriculum design
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a desire to work with partner schools

Successful applicants are expected to teach 30 credit hours per year (15 credit hours each fall and spring semester) with a mix of intro and upper-level courses; advise and mentor EDU majors; have a strong commitment to teaching excellence; and participate in department curriculum
