Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund

Bethel University has been awarded $4,230,579 in funding under the American Rescue Plan (ARP), commonly referred to as HEERF III (Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund), that has been allocated directly to students. Funding has been disbursed via Federal and institutional guidelines.

Per the U.S. Department of Education, funds could be used in the following manner:
Emergency financial aid grants may be used by students for any component of their cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care. Students determined how they used their emergency financial aid grant within the allowable uses.

* Through September 30, 2022, all ARP funds have been disbursed to students ($4,230,479).
