Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education
The Music Education degree is designed to train undergraduates to serve public or private schools as highly qualified music teachers. Courses that will develop students’ skills in implementing teaching strategies include elementary and secondary music methods, methods courses in the brass, woodwind, and percussion instrument families, conducting, and private studio lessons.
